Dr. Darlene Allen Nichols is the founder of DAN Ministries, Inc. a 501c3 organization which provides a comprehensive learning environment conducive for growth, personal development and empowerment of women, youth and young adults.  In the capacity of CEO for DAN Ministries, Dr. Nichols has executed global training sessions, women’s empowerment luncheons, orchestrated free training seminars for young women, provided educational supplies to elementary school children, and facilitating parenting and anger management classes.

Dr. Nichols has a 20 year history working within corporate America in several capacities including; Vice President of Investment Administration, Associate Director of Operations, Division Manager and Executive Manager in tandem with serving the non-profit sector over 25 years. Her corporate and entrepreneurial background has afforded her opportunities to share platforms with great speakers across the globe including, Connie Lindsey, Dr. Byron Brazier, Dr. Cindy Trimm, Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole, Pastor Marvin Winans and Les Brown.

Her reach extends far beyond that of local dimensions; she has an international presence and has provided keynote addresses for prisons, youth camps, women’s shelters, mentoring symposiums, and the school system in Belize.  Dr. Darlene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Master’s in Business Management, both from DePaul University; and a PhD in Leadership and Organizational Management from Capella University. Dr. Darlene has been happily married to Eugene Nichols, Jr. since 1996; together they have two sons, Eugene Nichols, III affectionately known as EJ; and Austin.
